Please join us for an engaging short documentary and panel discussion with local organizations in Fairfield County. 'Force of Nature' illustrates the success story of Tatiana, an immigrant woman living in Fairfield County; from her time as a student of B1C’s Workforce Development Program to becoming a lead member of Ratatouille and Co’s culinary team. Our panel will highlight and discuss the intense journey so many immigrants face when acclimating to a new environment and the steps local nonprofits take to empower their journeys. As a community, it is important for us all to understand the multi-dimensional needs of immigrants and find impactful ways to support those seeking better lives for themselves and their families through education, employability training, and more.
