Building One Community to Host a FREE Health Fair for Immigrants

Building One Community, the Center for Immigrant Opportunity (B1C) —A variety of FREE health services and practical tips on general health care will be available as part of “Health Day,” an event by Building One Community and co-sponsored by Community Health Center, Inc. in Stamford.

The event will be held Thursday, June 22nd, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Building One Community, 417 Shippan Avenue in Stamford.

Stamford’s immigrant population will be able to access FREE critical medical and dental services. Services offered will include:

  • Dental cleaning
  • Blood pressure screenings
  • Free haircuts with a professional hairstylist and barber
  • HIV and Hepatitis C Testing
  • Vision screening
  • Sign-up opportunities for Husky Health Care coverage for ages 12 and under

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Building One Community (B1C) will be closed for
programs on Monday, January 19.
The center will be open for day workers only.
No programs or classes will be held on this day.
