THE END OF TPS FOR HONDURANS

On May 4, 2018, DHS Secretary announced her decision to end the Temporary Protected Status for Hondurans, after almost twenty years since Honduras got the designation.  As it is customary, there is an 18 months extension and so the effective termination date will be January 5, 2020.  The re-registration information will be announced shortly.  TPS holders are encouraged to consult with an immigration attorney to explore other immigration options that may be available to them.
