STAMFORD — Building One Community – The Center for Immigrant Opportunity (B1C) will honor retiring board members and welcome its new leaders at the Annual Board Meeting on January 23, 2019. Community leaders who serve on B1C's Board of Directors reside in Fairfield County and New York City. Each member contributes to B1C's mission by calling on their unique experiences as business professionals, educators, attorneys, faith leaders, philanthropists etc. to advise the nonprofit organization. B1C's board also contains individuals who are first- and second-generation immigrants. These individuals draw on their personal and family experiences to help B1C strengthen its programs to better meet the needs of the population it serves.
